Lucy Young is a freelance make-up artist and hair stylist living and working in London, specialising in television and film production. She is reliable, honest, hard working with an extensive knowledge of industry products as well as a passion for make-up and creating the desired look for a designer or director.
Since graduating from Greasepaint school of make-up, Lucy has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working frequently in television for ITV Sport and Al Jazeera Sport on a number of their live sport productions, including the ‘Indian Premier League’ (IPL) Cricket and the ‘UEFA Champions League’ 2012. Most recently she was the make-up artist for ‘All Star Family Fortunes’ on ITV and a Bollywood film ‘P45’.
She is also highly skilled in wig preparation and placement having experienced working in a number of West End productions including ‘SHREK The Musical’, ‘We Will Rock You’, the ‘South Pacific Tour’ and the Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall.
Lucy has worked on a number of advertisements, music videos and photographic shoots and is the lead make-up artist and hair stylist for the photographic shoots for ‘The Transmitter Magazine’ which is published six times a year.
